Who doesn't enjoy the Holidays? The Holidays, for many of us, means family time, Christmas parties, Christmas movies/music, presents, vacation time, and of course the joy of seeing all of the Holiday decorations! I have compiled a small list of areas of San Antonio, TX (and surrounding cities) most known for their displays of Christmas decorations! I have personally visited a few of these and I'll tell you, they're worth a drive!

Image title1. San Antonio River Walk

If you've never been to downtown San Antonio during the holiday season, NOW is the time to go! The River Walk is adorned with thousands of lights/decorations and it is a sight to see!

Image title2. Travis Park

Also located downtown San Antonio, here you'll enjoy a 55-foot illuminated tree (previously located at Alamo Plaza). Street vendors are usually there offering items such as food, drinks, and souvenirs. Plus, there's plenty of space for the kiddos to run and play!

Image title3. Windcrest

Located on San Antonio's northeast side, Windcrest in famous for their "Enjoy the Light of Windcrest" this is no ordinary

community display of lights. Windcrest even hands out maps of their streets highlighting certain displays!

Image title4. Six Flag's Fiesta TX

Holiday in the Park is always a favorite! The lights combined with rides and entertainment make for a great time with the family!

Image title5. SeaWorld San Antonio

Christmas celebration at Seaworld is definitely worth seeing! With a 5 million light display, this is sure to leave you in awe!

Image title6. Boerne, TX

This Hill Country town is decorated every year for it's annual "Parade of Lights" contest! Residents complete their best decorations for the annual Judging that takes place December 12, 2018! So if you're reading this, stop reading and head out to Boerne!

There countless, other, areas of San Antonio adorned with Holiday lights and decorations, too many for me to list! The Holidays should be a time of cheer, laughter, giving, a time to pause our busy lives and reflect on the important things around us! I want to personally wish you a "Happy Holiday" may this holiday season be one that brings you joy and happiness for years on end!
